The League of Women Voters of Westford invites residents to its October Civic Social, which will offer an informal conversation about the Robinson School Building Project. On Thursday, October 22, at 7:30 p.m., Valery Young, chair of the Robinson School Building Committee (RSBC) and current Westford School Committee member, will bring residents up to date with the project’s status and answer questions. She will be joined by Lindsay Richard, RSBC vice-chair.
Since December 2024, the RSBC has been studying the Robinson School’s significant challenges, district-wide elementary enrollment, a possible change in grade configuration, and how various options could impact the district’s other aging elementary schools, Abbot and Day.
At the October 22nd Civic Social, Valery and Lindsay will share where the committee is now, its future plans, and how residents can learn more. For more information, residents can check out Robinson School Building Project website: bit.ly/WPS-RSBC.
The Civic Social will be held in Room 202 in the Roudenbush Community Center, 65 Main Street.
