Cameron Extending Hours
The Westford Senior Center will be extending its hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8:00 p.m. Programs and Outreach services available.
The Cameron Senior Center has been open M-F 8:00 -4:00 but now thanks to the Town of Westford and our partnership with the Recreation Department we will stay open on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8:00 p.m. We hope this will better serve many residents age 60 and over who perhaps still work and would like to take advantage of our fitness center, exercise classes, art classes, belly dancing and other programs offered. Westford residents 60+ can purchase a year membership for the fitness center for $50. or purchase a 25 visit punch card for $25. to try it out. Folks over the age of 80 are only charged $25. a year for a membership to the fitness center.
Annette Cerullo, the town Outreach Coordinator, will also be available to serve folks who may work during the day. She plans to offer a "Sandwich Generation Series" with a program the last Tuesday of every month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The "Sandwich Generation" are adults who care for children as well as aging parents and are "sandwiched in between". Topics will include: preparing for retirement, getting on Social Security, caring for aging parents, downsizing, estate planning and more. You may contact her at 978-399-2326 or the front desk at 978-692-5523. We hope to see you at the center and would love to hear your ideas!
