Circle Home presents FREE Fall Prevention Clinic at Cameron Senior Center
Join us on Friday, September 16! Drop in anytime between 1:00 and 3:30 PM for your free fall risk screening and learn more!
Are you worried about your risk for falling? Want to stay safe and maintain your independence?
Falls are the leading cause of injury and disability among seniors, and some people never recover fully. But, falls are preventable!
Find out more at Circle Home's free Fall Prevention Clinic on Friday, September 16, at the Cameron Senior Center. Anyone may "drop in" between 1:00 and 3:30 PM for a free individual fall risk screening by Circle Home nurses and therapists, who will discuss safety strategies. Participants will also be able to connect with a variety of community resources related to fall prevention, including tai chi (see photo above of Dave Crocker of Cultivating Qi), low vision services, stair lifts and walk-in tubs, medical equipment, medication information, outpatient physical therapy and other services. Enjoy refreshments and perhaps a game of "fall prevention bingo!" There is no cost and no reservations are needed.
