Concord's Colonial Inn

It doesn't get much more historic than Concord's Colonial Inn.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the inn's original structure was built in 1716. In 1775, patriots stored guns there to fight the British.

Today, the building has transformed into a modern hotel, restaurant, and function space, while maintaining historic touches. Rooms start at about $140 a night.

The inn's restaurant has a renowned Sunday brunch.

On Sat., April 23, there will be a special Easter breakfast, including an egg hunt for children.

The inn's location near Monument Square is close to such historic places as the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Old Manse, North Bridge, Concord Museum, Emerson House, The Wayside, and Minuteman National Historical Park.
