Confused BOD @ Pillgrim Village

For the past two years the school van in question has been parking  in the driveway of a private owner with no problems.  Unfortunately, the police were called for a noise violation caused by the neighbor.  Because the neighbor didn’t like the fact that they were in violation, and believed they weren’t, they notified the BOD that the school van is a commercial vehicle and should not be allowed to park in the driveway.  This was in direct retaliation to calling the police.  Through numerous emails and discussion with the BOD, the board chose to restrict the school van from the premises stating that it is not a private passenger vehicle and is a commercial vehicle being used for commercial purposes and cannot be parked within the community.  The BOD was informed that the school van is not a commercial vehicle, is not being used for commercial purposes and it is not parked overnight nor is it stored on the property.  The parents of the special needs children would not appreciate the fact that they are being called commercial property.  The board, by insisting and imposing fines, is not sympathetic to the fact that this will cause a financial hardship for the individual who is 60 years old and has been enjoying this job for the past eight years.  Not to mention, as we all know, there isn’t a lot of opportunities for a 60 year old man to acquire a position that would allow him to maintain a life style that he currently has.  Should the BOD insist on the restriction of the van, the condo will have to be sold, as the loss of income would greatly affect the possibility of staying within the community.  This is an obvious violation of rights to not allow someone to come home for a lunch break and be told he can no longer park in his driveway.  It seems to be that the members of the BOD are not a people of high morals and are obviously siding with the neighbor in question.  Finally, let’
