'Drug Dealers Don't Care About You:' DA Urges Students to Avoid Drugs

Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone told students at Nashoba Valley Technical High School to avoid alcohol and drugs during a talk Monday.

Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone told students gathered at Nashoba Valley Technical High School Monday to make good decisions and avoid drugs and alcohol.

Leone warned students about the dangers of the substances. He urged students experiencing issues with them to reach out to people they trust at school.

"There are plenty of people in your school, whether it's a ... teacher, or a coach, or a guidance counselor who you can always talk to," Leone said.

Leone's visit was a few weeks . Westford police recovered the weapon and believe a 16-year-old male student brought it in. The student has not been arrested but faces possible court action.
