Community Safety - Sexual Violence/Abuse Prevention Training

Community Safety – Sexual Violence/Abuse Prevention Training

Sexual violence/abuse (SVA) exists along a continuum, from crude words to inappropriate touch to assault. And when we see signs SVA is going to occur, we can do something. This training is about being an ACTIVE bystander. In the training you’ll learn how to identify unacceptable behaviors, you’ll develop skills for speaking up and stepping in, and you’ll learn how to intervene in
ways that keep you safe. Collective action makes our community safer. We all have a role to play in the prevention of SVA. Please join us.

The training consists of three one-hour sessions and will
take place on the evenings of March 6, 13, and 20 from 7:00 to 8:00 at First Parish Church United on 48 Main Street in Westford, MA.
