Inside the Video Game Industry

Do you play video games? Is your home one of the 72% of American households who plays computer or video games? The video game industry is vibrant in Massachusetts. On Wednesday, October 19, at 7pm, the Gleason Public Library will present a special panel discussion with four experienced game developers, including Doug Macrae of 38 Studios, Jamie Gotch of Subatomic Studios, Ichiro Lambe of Dejobaan Games, and Carlisle’s own Steve Golson.

Find out about game development as a career, and what it is like to work at a game design company. We will discuss all types of games, how games are created, who plays them, and what it takes to work in this dynamic and growing industry. Students and questions welcomed!

This program is free and open to the public, and will be held at Union Hall, FRS, 27 School St. in Carlisle.  Sponsored jointly by the Friends of the Gleason Public Library and the Library’s new STEM+M project for Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Music in Carlisle.
