Art on Main gallery hosts guest artist Richard Scott and his unique digital paintings during the month of July. Scott, a retired editor, writer and publisher, has painted in oils, acrylics and watercolors. Recently he discovered a new medium, digital painting, which he stresses is NOT altering photos. Using a Wacom tablet and stylus attached to a computer, Scott will demonstrate the technique at the gallery’s monthly “Wine and Nibbles” reception on Thursday, July 7th from 5 to 8 p.m. Art on Main gallery is located at 40 Main Street.
