Falling Ice Likely Cause of 3-Alarm Fire at Westford Condos

Heavy snow this winter was likely to blame for a fire that engulfed part of a Westford condominium complex Wednesday.

The fire broke out at Tadmuck Meadows Westford on Bandon Circle. No one was hurt.

The fire started after a gas line ruptured. The Boston Globe reported fire officials said ice may have fell off the roof and severed the line.

Four units were rendered uninhabitable. The Red Cross offered assistance to those displaced.
