Fatal I-495 Crash In Bolton: 1 Dead, 1 Critical
A man was killed and a woman was seriously hurt in a crash on Interstate 495 in Bolton Sunday.

BOLTON, MA – A man was killed and a woman was seriously hurt in a crash on Interstate 495 in Bolton Sunday. The crash happened at about 4:05 p.m., State Police said. The pair were in a Mercury and the vehicle crashed on the northbound side of the highway near Exit 27, ejecting both occupants.

The man was transported to Marlborough Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified Monday as Adlerson Anicette, 31, of Brooklyn, New York. The woman was medflighted to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester with life-threatening injuries, police said. She has not been identified.

Speed is believed to be a contributing factor on the crash, police said. It was unclear if the man or woman was driving. The driver was taking the Exit 27 ramp for Route 117 in Bolton when he or she went across the exit divider and onto the northbound ramp, police said. The vehicle rolled, ejecting the occupants, police said.
There were heavy traffic delays through about 8:30 p.m. as crews cleared the scene.
