WA Girls Basketball Edges Wachusett

Led by freshmen Samantha Hylsip and Hannah Hackley, Westford beat Wachusett in the Grey Ghost Classic Tuesday. It was the final game of the regular season.

The Westford Academy girls basketball team finished the season strong Tuesday, beating Wachusett 42-38 in the Grey Ghost Classic.

Freshmen Samantha Hylsip and Hannah Hackley led the team with 11 points apiece.

WA dropped the first game of the tournament to Pentucket, 49-43.
