Five Things You Need to Know for Super Tuesday

Hello Westford! Here are your Five Things for today, Tuesday, March 6.

#1. Go Vote Today!: Today's Super Tuesday, and that means it's time to vote. If you don't know where to go and vote, this list from the Westford town website can help you out.

#2. And There's More Being Voted Upon Than You Might Realize: In addition to the deciding the allocation of pledged delegates for Massachusetts' delegations to the Republican and Democratic and Rainbow/Green Party conventions*.

Also, there will be elections for Town Committee positions and State Committee Man and Woman positions in the Republican and Democratic parties, although only the Republican State Committee woman position is contested and the Town Committee races on both sides are actually undercontested.

We'll have the final results from all of this stuff from here in Westford on Wednesday morning, barring unforeseen circumstances.

#4. There's Always Next Year: Westford Academy's mock trial team saw its four year undefeated streak end at the hands of Chelmsford, who was also undefeated this year.

The Grey Judicial Ghosts had perfect 10s from Maddie Cady and Julia Kinney, including a second perfect 10 for Cady in her cross-examination.
