#5. Grey Ghost Basketball Recap from Coach Scollan:
Westford Academy defeated Lynn English, 85-68, in the consolation game of the IAABO Board #130 Tournament.
Senior Alex Preckol was named to the All-Tournament Team, a great effort tonight with 22 points. Matt Ellis hits with 21, and Ryan Jann has 11. Mike Bibinski and Justin Mount also played well for the Ghosts.
The Ghosts finish 17-4 and wait for the North Division I pairings to be announced Friday morning.
"We started slow, down by one after the first, but then went on a 31-15 run in the 2nd to break it open," said Scollan. "Alex had a solid game and Matt and Ryan did a nice job. I was concerned how we would play after the let down against the Prep the night before, but this team did what it always does, responds well!"
CORRECTION: The fundraiser is for Carter Clements, not Cameron Carter.
