#1. Westford Paddler Among Early Entries in CRWA’s Run of the Charles Canoe & Kayak Race - Michael Regan of Westford has registered for the Charles River Watershed Association’s (CRWA) 30th Annual Run of the Charles Canoe and Kayak Race scheduled for Sunday, April 29, 2012.

The Race, which celebrates the ongoing improvements of the Charles River, draws approximately 1,500 paddlers and thousands of spectators to enjoy a day on the river full of fun and festivities.

#2. Good Job, George: George Popp of Westford (pictured left), joined Ken Kaiser of Pelham N.H., along with Jimmy Fund Director, Suzanne Fountain in organizing the Dawn to Dusk Charity Golf Marathon at Vesper Country Club in Tyngsboro.
The tournament increased its annual fundraising total from more than $18,000 in 2010, to more than $30,000 in 2011.
