LITTLETON, MA (January15, 2015) -- Gallery 529, the newly launched artists’ cooperative and gallery, is turning its attention to doing good as well as making art. Gallery529 is holding a silent auction and sale to benefit Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) February 1- 8th at its gallery, 529 King Street, Littleton. The events are free and open to the public.
“Our member artists have agreed to donate their time and artwork to support this great cause, “ said Virginia Wood, Gallery 529 director. “The potters will be making pet bowls that will be decorated by other artists from our coop.” Wood said that the unique designs will be available by auction. And, to add to the efforts, there will be a selection of artwork, paintings, collages and photographs, all with a theme of “love your pet!”
