Ghosts End Baseball Regular Season With Winning Record
A win on Tuesday against Newton South leaves them at 11-9, awaiting seeding in the playoffs.
It was a win without postseason ramifications, but it was a win nonetheless.
Westford Academy took down Newton South 4-0 on Tuesday to finish the year at 11-9, already having qualified for the playoffs.
While sophomore Ryan Pocock has been strong on the mound this year, he sparked a three run rally in the fourth with a double that would be all the Ghosts would need as junior Luke Morse struck out nine Newton batters on the day.
