Ghosts Score 19 Unanswered Runs to Cap Two Wins in Three Days
Westford Academy softball got a mercy rule win on Wednesday against Wayland and had a solid victory on Monday against Weston.
The softball team earned two wins this week to increase their record to 8-7 on the year.
Sophomore Deanna Johnston led the way against Weston on Monday in a 9-4 victory, pitching all seven innings.

However, they came back to score 19 unanswered runs, getting a 20-7 mercy rule victory.
Allie Brody was 3 for 3 with three RBI and five runs, and was joined in the three hit club by Danielle Victory, Shannon Donahue, and Kayleigh Culhane.
