Great Live Music at Act III This Weekend.

Act III Restaurant features a Mediterranean menu with some of the most delicious lamb dishes. On Thursday nights, one can enjoy dinner to the jazzful tunes interpreted by pianist Ted Knowlton. There is no charge for music with dinner, it is Act III’s gift to you for your continued support. Tonight’s after dinner band is the Fernando Holtz Band that features Brazilian Jazz. Check out the Holz’s website to hear a sampling of their music. If you are a jazz fan, you’ll love their soft, rolling melodies. Cover charge is just $15. Located at 529 King Street, Act III shares the building with Gallery 529. Gallery 529 is a collaborative of over 30 artists. It has painters (pastels, oil, water color and encaustic), potters, soap makers, and fibre arts. Many of the artists hail from Westford and the surrounding communities: Tom Briere and Nancy Arbeene (photographers), and Laurie G. Miller (painter). Littleton artists include Laurie Burns and Bob Kulchuk (potters), Phil St. Germaine (wood turning) Bill Harland and Alyssa Taylor (painters), Cynthia Franzek (beautiful sparkling jewelry) and Blue Hoot Soap. The other local communities represented include Harvard, Groton, Ayer, Townsend, and Pepperell. Stop by and see what your neighbors have been up to! There is no cost to visit the gallery.
