Grey Ghost Boys Lacrosse Earns Postseason Berth

The Lady Grey Ghosts won't be the only Westford Academy lacrosse team in the postseason.

In addition to the top-seeded girls lacrosse team, the boys lacrosse team learned on Friday their postseason fate as the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association released its brackets.

Thanks to a regular season that featured a 12-8 record, the Grey Ghosts earned the No. 10 seed.

As a result, Westford Academy will host Medford on Wednesday at 5 p.m. 

With a victory, the locals would advance to the first round to face Xaverian, the No. 7 seed in the tournament that earned a preliminary round bye. The date and time of that game has yet to be determined.
