Grey Ghost Softball Falls to Dracut, 6-0

Dracut broke open a pitchers' duel with five runs in the sixth inning en route to a 6-0 defeat of Westford Academy on Monday. 

The Grey Ghosts managed only four walks while being no-hit by Dracut ace Lauren Ramirez, who fanned 16 batters.

Westford captain Allie Brody almost matched Ramirez, allowing only a single run through the first five innings to keep the game at 1-0 before the Dracut bats came alive late. 

Offensively, Christie Raymond reached on an error while Sage Riddick, Katie Lowe, Bianca Tardi and Brody were able to reach base via walks.

Defensively, left fielder Juliana Viscione made a spectacular diving catch and second basement Alexa Sullivan was involved in turning two Westford double plays.  With the loss, Westford drops to 2-3.
