Grey Ghosts Edged Out By Boston Latin

Although they had a surge of energy in the sixth, the Grey Ghosts couldn't come up with a win against Boston Latin, losing 2-1 on Saturday morning. 

Westford Academy's Mark Cornelius scored the team's only run as Boston Latin pitcher Michael DeSalvo only allowed five players to get on base through his first five innings of work. 

Although it appeared that WA was mounting a rally when DeSalvo left in the sixth, Latin managed to stifle a comback from Westford and leave with the win.

Boston Latin's victory marked a repeat of the 6-5 victory over the Ghosts earlier this season. 

Westford will look to bounce back as they hit the road on Sunday against Lincoln-Sudbury, followed by another road contest on Monday against Newton South.
