Grey Ghosts Struggle Against Concord-Carlisle

fell to Concord-Carlisle in softball in Thursday, 9-0. 

The Patriots broke open a close game with four runs in the fifth inning and pitcher Galen Kerr limited the Grey Ghosts to six hits in a complete-game shutout. 

Junior shortstop Rachel Desrochers excelled for Westford Academy, lashing a double for Westford’s only extra-base hit and making a diving catch on a pop fly. 

Bianca Tardi added a pair of infield singles while sophomores Emily Chateauneuf, Alexa Sullivan and Steph Laflamme also chipped in with base hits.  With the loss, Westford falls to 4-5.
