High School Sweethearts Killed in Fiery Lowell Wreck

The victims were identified as Justin Fisher, 20, and Victoria Valante, 22.

A young couple was killed in a fiery crash in Lowell early Sunday morning.

The victims were reportedly identified as Justin Fisher, 20, and Victoria Valante, 22.

Lowell police said their vehicle was traveling south on Bridge Street when it veered off the road, struck a utility pole, and burst into flames.

First responders said they arrived to find the burning vehicle on its roof, covered by live wires. They said one of the victims was thrown from the vehicle while the other was trapped inside. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Fisher’s father told FOX 25 the couple were high school sweethearts.

Police said they are investigating why the vehicle veered off the road. It was immediately unclear who was driving. There were no skidmarks indicating the driver attempted to stop the vehicle, police said.
