- Where/When: Friday, 8-10 p.m., 45 Quincy St, Cambridge (Sanders Theatre, Memorial Hall, Harvard University)
- Why Go: This performance is a tribute concert to Allen Lannom, who led Masterworks Chorale for an extraordinary 53-year tenure, from 1952 to 2005. The concert marks the fifth anniversary of his passing. The Dvořák Stabat Mater was one of Mr. Lannom’s most cherished works for chorus and orchestra.
- Pricing: $20
- Where/When: Friday, 8 p.m.,
- Why Go: Newman will be playing songs from his newly released compact disc, Trust Me, You’ll Like It. You’ll also hear selections from Newman’s latest baseball album, Baseball’s Greatest Hits, Volume 2, which has been accepted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame Archive in Cooperstown, N.Y.
- Pricing: $12 at the door; $9 for Westford Museum members; $5 for teens
- Where/When: Saturday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.,
- Why Go: Local vendors gather to sell crafts, foods and other items of interest. Also demonstrations, displays, occasional performances, and crafts for children.
- Pricing: Free! Price of food items vary
