Image Gallery: First Annual Live For Liv Concert [VIDEO]

Westford Academy parents and students gathered to commemorate the life of Olivia Marchand, a local girl who lost her life last year to domestic violence.

Local student entertainers assembled at Westford Academy as part of the first annual "Live for Liv" concert, a tribute to Westford's Olivia Marchand.

Marchand, a Westford Academy student who died as part of a fatal gun related incident last February, remained in the thoughts of many in the audience and on stage as organizers of the event hoped her tragic loss can help spark a movement against similiar acts occuring in the future.

All proceeds from the event went to the Westford Coalition for Non-Violence.

More information on the event, as well as ways to donate to the cause begun in Olivia's memory can be found at www.liveforliv.com.

Update 7:39 a.m -- The Live For Liv website noted that Olivia's mother was "critically injured", which we inferred to mean that she also perished in the inicident, but several readers have claimed that Olivia's mother was not killed. We apologize for any concern this incongruency may have caused.
