defeated Chelmsford on Monday in a close and well played girls' volleyball match, 25-18, 20-25, 16-25, 25-17, 15-13. Chelmsford led two sets to one after three, but Westford took control of the match in the fourth game.

Westford built a lead in the fifth and final set, and Chelmsford evened the score at 13-13, but Westford pulled away in the end. Leading the way for Chelmsford was Jackie Pisecco with 12 kills, 6 assists and 6 aces. Shelby Smyth added 13 assists while Lauren Silverman had 8 kills, 3 blocks and 4 aces and Brooke Curran had 4 kills, 4 blocks and an ace.
