Drunk Driver Crashes Through Farm Stand In Tyngsborough: Police
Tyngsborough police said a drunk driver crashed through the Lawndale Farm stand.
TYNGSBOROUGH, MA — A drunk driver crashed through a Tyngsborugh farm stand Tuesday, police said. Gerard Ledoux, 34, of Hudson, was arrested and charged with a host of crimes.
The crash happened Tuesday at the Lawndale Farm stand on Lawndale Road at about 4 p.m. Ledoux was driving a sport utility vehicle and police said he told officers he slid off the road and crashed through the stand.
"The weather was clear at this time and the roadways were clear and dry," Tyngsborough Police Chief Richard Howe said in a statement.

Ledoux suffered a head injury and was bleeding from the face when officers arrived. Nearby residents called 911 after witnessing the crash, Howe said.
There was "extensive" damage to the farm stand, which was unoccupied at the time of the crash, Howe said.

Ledoux was transported to Lowell General Hospital for treatment. He was charged with:
- OUI, liquor
- Reckless operation of a motor vehicle
- Destruction of property
- Marked lanes violation
- Speeding over reasonable and proper rate
Lawndale Farm was founded in 1921.
