Kyle Ryan, Mike Errerra Lead Timberwolves to Rec Bball Championship

The Timberwolves defeated the Spurs, 59-51, to win the 8th/9th-grade championship.

Kyle Ryan dropped 17 points and Mike Errerra added 16 as the Timberwolves won the 8th/9th-grade Westford Youth Basketball Association championship Sunday.

The duo's team topped the Spurs, 59-51.

Billy Steele also scored in double figures with 10 points (eight in the second half) for the Timberwolves. Patrick Towers and David Ran chipped in with six points apiece.

The T'Wolves were down 21-14 at the half but stormed back to score 45 points in the second frame for the win.

The Spurs were led by Andrew Clark, who despite a lot of attention from the T'wolves defenders scored 24 tough points.

Derek Lehan added 11 and Andy Dunn scored 10. Daniel Cotter added 4 points.

Cam Prusacyk had four big second-half points for the T'Wolves, while Vrinkath Rao and Satish Bisa came up with some key steals.
