Latest Snowfall Prediction for Westford: 4-8 Inches

The heaviest snow and sleet will occur between 1 and 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The National Weather Service is now predicting 4 to 8 inches of snow for Westford on Wednesday. That’s a slight downgrade from earlier in the week, when the forecast called for up to 10 inches.

The storm comes on one of the busiest travel days of the year and will make driving dangerous at times, NWS said, adding there’s still “uncertainty” about exact snow amounts because sleet will mix with snow at times.

Visibility could be down to one-quarter of a mile or less during the peak of the storm.
