Purple Urple Flurples 20
Surfers 17
The passionate Purple Urple Flurples delicately dribbled their way to a wonderful win against the psychadelic Surfers. For the stunning Surfers, magnificent Maya Barber Mingo and daring Danielle Reynolds were optimistic on offense. For the flamboyant Flurples, Cindy McLaughlin had some crazy cross overs while never giving up. Nicole Nightingale had some drastic defense.
Crazy Pink Panthers 17
Teal Terror Tucans 9
The Panthers and the Tucans played an awesome game on Saturday. The game was neck and neck for the first half with Katie Cullen from the Panthers being her usual power shooting self. Ariella Fleischer from the Tucans had many baskets as well in this very aggressively played game. Brooke Leonard and Amanda Urban from the Panthers provided amazing defense and were always hustling. Lillian Gellar and Uche Orakwue played fabulous offense and defense for the Tucans and made it very difficult for the Panthers to sink baskets. Morgan Freud kept the Pink Panthers from taking the lead in the first half. In the second half, the Pink Panthers took the win thanks to Kelley Burbine's presence under the boards and Sam Gruber's and Caroline Gabriel's aggressiveness on offense. Go Pats !!
Electric Eels 21
Blue Lightening 17
The Electric Eels and the Blue Lightening played a close game with the Eels pulling out a close victory 21-17. Emily Blagg, Katie Flanagan, and Morgan Rose played great defense for the Eels. While Maddie Jones and Sarah Wilsack lead the way on offense. For the Lightening, Meaghan McGee and Brianna Frankfort were amazing. Victoria Andrews was amazing on defense. Ella Krikorian scored on a great shot for the Eels. Gigi Ottaviano had a great game as did Isabel Smith.
Shamrock Shooters 21
Orange Starburst 10
The Shamrock Shooters and the Orange Starbursts had a great game. For the Shooters, Jessie Peternell had an amazing game. Jessie had a lot of good fast breaks and shots. Amelia Devlin played tough defense and got some great rebounds. Katherine Dickey also played amazing defense and got a super steal. Eleanor Whitehead did an awesome job on defense and with moving the ball around. For the Starbursts, Emma Quaranto had several good shots. Emily Morin and Cailin McEnaney both played excellent defense. Good Game everyone !
LemonHeadz 14
UmpaLumpas 12
The LemondHeadz and the Umpa Lumpas played a thrilling game. Emily Longtin and Amanda Ciulla played great player to player and zone defense. Rachel Murray and Pratyusha Mulpur were great on offense and were also rebounding queens. Lauren Berk and Leyla Singh on the UmpaLumpas played stellar offense. Olivia Genna and Ellen Olszowy were phenonmenal on defense. Overall it was a very hard fought game by both teams.
GreenGobstoppers 10
Red Phoenix 4
The Green Gobstoppers defeated the Red Phoenix 10-4 in a close defensive game. The Phoenix played a tough man to man defense but in the end, the Gobstoppers had more steals by Samantha Enyon. Jackie LaBarre also led the Green Gobstoppers with rebounds on both offense and defense.
The Smurfs 21
Orange Crush 6
Riley McDermott for the Blue Smurfs was a powerhouse during the game against the Crush. Alyssa Cantalupo led a fantastic offense and had some great passing to other teammates. Also Nicole O'Neil made some great rebounds and steals. On team Crush, Abigail Zegowitz and Fiona Cotter played a tight defense against the Smurfs. Also,Olivia Lohmeier showed some impressive dribbling and offense. All together a great game everyone !
