Local Church Invites Public to Hear Mass Bible Society Director

Rev. Anne Robertson hired to "re-invent" historic institution

The public is invited to hear the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Bible Society (MassBible), Rev. Anne Robertson, speak on Sunday, June 7th at 9:30 AM at the United Methodist Church of Westford (UMCW), 10 Church Street.

The Massachusetts Bible Society exists to promote biblical literacy, understanding and dialogue. It is grounded in scholarship, socially relevant and respectful of the many voices within the Bible and all those who turn to it in faith.

Rev. Robertson is a renowned speaker and writer who was hired by MassBible, one of the oldest Bible Societies in the country, to re-invent the historic institution for the 21st century. She served as the UMCW Pastor from July of 2005 through April of 2007.
