Local Police Bust 'Major' Drug Dealer in Raid

A ”major” drug dealer was arrested in Groton Thursday.
Shane Conley, 28, of Pepperell Road, was charged with possession of marijuana, hashish, and Fentanyl with intent to distribute. Members of the North East Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council SWAT team raided Conley’s home and arrested him. The Westford Police Department is a member of NEMLEC.
Authorities said Conley was a “major” drug dealer in the area. Police said they found a sawed-off, .22-caliber rifle, ammunition, small bags of marijuana packaged for sale, hashish, Fentanyl, and bags of various pills.

“Groton Police Detectives concluded a major investigation which took guns, drugs, and a drug dealer out of our community,” Groton Police Chief Donald Palma said in a statement. Conley was also hit with several weapons charges.
