Lowell Facebook Live Beating Suspect Wanted
Elijah Rodriguez, of Lawrence, is wanted after Lowell police said he beat and robbed a woman — an incident that was caught on Facebook Live.
LOWELL, MA — Lowell police are asking the public's help finding a suspect who beat and robbed a woman — and police said the incident was broadcast on Facebook Live. Elijah Rodriguez, 20, has a last known address of Lawrence on Bigelow Street, according to police.
The incident happened February 6 when Rodriguez "violently" assaulted a 19-year-old woman then robbed her, police said.
"The assault was broadcast on Facebook Live and resulted in hospitalization for the victim," Lowell police Capt. Timothy Crowley said in a statement.

Rodriguez is wanted for armed robbery and assault with a weapon. The suspect has multiple tattoos on his face and neck.
