MassWildlife To Stock Westford's Long Sought-For Pond With Trout

WESTFORD, MA — The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife) will be stocking over 65,000 trout in lakes and ponds across the state this fall, including Long Sought-For Pond in Westford.

The 2021 fall trout stocking will start mid-September and include nearly 28,000 rainbow trout 14 inches and longer, over 33,000 rainbow trout 12 inches and longer, and 4,000 brown trout 9 inches and longer.

Long Sought-For Pond in Westford is one of 120 bodies of water in Massachusetts that will be stocked this fall. The exact date of stocking has not been released, but will be available here in the next few weeks.
