The Peacocks, led by Kayla Dias and Stephanie and Jessica Sullivan, won the championship to finish up another successful season for the WYBA high school girls division.

Peacocks 34, Gingers 28
The Peacocks and Gingers played an exciting game in the semi-finals. The Peacocks lead scorer was Stephanie Sullivan with 16 points. Kayla Dias and Taylor Freud played tough defense. The Gingers lead scorers were Jen Larrick and Kristen Leary, both with 9 points. Caty Sheridan played tenacious defense.
Flash 34, Mac N Cheese 33
In a back-and-forth battle, Flash overcame a strong Man-N-Cheese team on a last second layup by Abby Hyslip. Julie Bransfield and Hyslip led the Flask with 17 points each, including a combined 14 from the foul line. Alexis Jacobson and Kristina Reny were outstanding on the boards. Mac-N-Cheese received strong efforts from Elizabeth Muller and Sarah Brunelle with 9 points each and Amanda Brooks with 8. Tia Caldwell and Shannon Greene also played notable games.
Championship Game
Peacocks 25, Flash 23
What a nail-biter we had in the finals! The Peacocks pulled off the playoff championship by one last minute basket by Kayla Dias. Dias had a great game and was high scorer with 12 points. A great defensive game was put in by the Sullivan sisters, Stephanie and Jessica. Alyssa Ingalls was another strong player with 4 points. For the Flash, Abby Hyslip was high scorer followed by Julie Bransfield with 6. Katarina Chang also played an outstanding game.
