Merrimack Valley Man Wins Second $1 Million Ticket From Same Store in 30 Months

Oh, come on. Save some luck for the rest of us!

A Billerica man has won a $1 million scratch ticket prize from the same convenience store for the second time in less than 30 months, the Massachusetts State Lottery said Tuesday.

Seriously.

Alan Danehy won his latest cool million on a $10 ticket called "$2,500,000 Holiday Magic." He won his first million on another $10 ticket, "100X The Cash." He claimed the first prize on Oct. 31, 2014, choosing to take the one-time payment of $650,000.

Danehy purchased both tickets at Bell Food Mart at 852 Boston Rd. The store will receive another $10,000 prize for the sale.

Assuming Danehy stops buying tickets, there are still millions to be won - a $2.5 million prize and four $1 million prizes remain in the $2,500,000 Holiday Magic instant game.
