Nashoba Tech Health Assisting Students Pass First-Aid Recertification

Upperclassmen in the Health Assisting program at Nashoba Valley Technical High School recently marked the completion of their first-aid recertification, as well as the emergency component of the 16-hour pre-care certification, by touring the Shriners Burns Institute in Boston.

While at the institute, the students, as well as instructor Vicki Ann Poulin and chaperone Sue Wilcox, also received an educational seminar on treating burn injuries.

Seniors who participated include Marc Clayton (Chelmsford), Brianna Coburn (Leominster), Ariel Corliss (Chelmsford), Brianna Ellis (Chelmsford), Skye Nogler (Pepperell), Lauren Quinn (Townsend) and Wilbannelys Ramos (Lowell).

Juniors who participated include Brett Bamford (Westford), Rachael Fitton (Chelmsford), Jordan Forrest (Chelmsford), Samantha Piecewicz (Ayer), Amanda Rogers (Chelmsford), Stephanie Santiago (Chelmsford), Ryian Vandal (Shirley) and Isabella Venti (Shirley).
