WESTFORD, MA — The Town of Westford is launching a new committee to study ways in which it can increase attendance at its annual Town Meeting, scheduled to take place Monday, October 18.
The "Committee to Study Ways to Increase Attendance at Town Meeting" will investigate, research, advise, and recommend to the Select Board what actions the town can take to increase attendance and participation at the meeting, said the town in an announcement Thursday.
Some considerations committee members will make regarding the meeting include the date and time, what services the town might offer, and educational, technological, and outreach activities the town could undertake.
