Periwinkle Platypi                                          17

 

The Leprechauns offense was led by Kelly Geraghty, Becky O’Neil and Mackenzie Brewer.  Nicole Pugatch, Tori Weiss and Liz Dick were strong on defense.  The Platypi were led by Emily Diaz and Catherine Darin.

 

Da Bullz                                                                28

In an exciting contest, Da Bullz edged the Crocodile Hunters 28-21.  Jess Casey of the Crocs tossed in 2 three-pointers but it was still not enough.  For Da Bullz, Lauren Cullen played outstanding all game.

 

Cool Blue                                                            37

This was a great and fast-moving game overall.  Brooke Mains and Breanne Sullivan on Cool Blue were top scorers.  On Butter, Julie Bransfield and Stacey Shackleton lead with the points, although scoring was a team effort.

 

Black Mambas                                                   33

The Black Mambas edged the Ocean Spray 33-23 in a tight battle.  Amanda Brooks led the Mambas with 13 points and many key rebounds.  The Mambas also had scoring from Laura Shapiro with two and Ashley Geary with 8.  Ocean Spray offense was led by Jessie Linnel with 4 key second half points and Haley McDonald with 12.  Great defense for the Mambas was played by Megan McGrath and Sam Kelly.  Ocean Spray defense was led by Karina Camargo and Rachel Stanley.

 

Crocodile Hunters                                           41

Great defense by the Croc Hunters.  They were on the prowl!  Nicole Callahan had 10 points and Kate Killion scored 8 points.  Katie Campbell came close with 6 points and Jenn Rigby ended the game with a killer 3 pointer.  For the Cool Blue, Kristina Reny and Brooke Mains both put up six points.  Great effort by all!

 

 

Yellow Submarines                                        39

The luck ran out for the Lucky Leprechauns as they had to play the entire game with only four players against the first place Yellow Submarines.  The Leprechauns kept it close for the first half before slowing down.  The Yellow Submarines pulled away for a 39-34 win behind the scoring of the big three of Amy Cornelius, Taryn Chrysikos and Jillian Chrysikos.  Leah Bushey also scored.  Mackenzie Brewer led all scorers with 18 points.  Amanda Charlton and Nicole Pugatch rounded out the scoring.

Karina Camargo was hot leading Ocean Spray in a close game decided with 15 seconds left.  Karina had 20 points including 3 – three pointers.  Shannon Donahue provided intense hustle on both ends adding 7 points.  Danielle Donovan added 7 points.  The Hot Shots played an impressive game led by Haley Flaherty-Dawson with 12 points, Danielle Victory with 9 points and Sarah Brunelle with 7 points.

 

Periwinkle Platypi                                          26

Hot Green Chili Peppers                              17

 

The Periwinkle Platypi pulled away in the end to defeat the Hot Green Chili Peppers 26-17.  Elise Paugh led for the Platypi with 10 points, followed by Catherine Darin with 7, Taylor Freud with 5 and Emily Diaz added 4.  Rebecca Shepherd led the Peppers with 8 points and numerous rebounds, followed by Liz McAleese who added 4 as well.  Both teams played tough physical defense and ran the floor for a fast paced game.

 

Da Bullz                                                                40

Golden Snitches                                              20

 

Da Bullz had their best shooting night led by Rebecca Goodman and Allie Loftus.  Rachel Mahon and Kara Aiken provided the rebounding.  The Golden Snitches were led by 11 points from Jenna Klinka and solid play by Rebecca Robey and Amy Paulaskas.
