Once in a Lifetime Result for Grey Ghosts

Anyone not at on Friday afternoon missed an event that might not be duplicated again for decades.

The Grey Ghosts girls' lacrosse team defeated Milton 17-0 in a once in a lifetime home win.

To give some reference on how rare the shut out was, Westford Academy head coach Julie Olivier was told by the referee after the game that he had never seen a shutout in 18 seasons of officiating.

Although going toe to toe was a fulfilling experience, this contest was pleasing in a different way.

"We still feel good about the Lincoln-Sudbury game, but today was great," said Olivier. "Everyone got a chance to play, it was a good team bonding experience and every felt good at the end."

The girls hope to continue their success .
