Pedestrian Struck By Train In Ayer
Fitchburg Line trains will experience significant delays in both directions due to police activity, the MBTA said.

AYER, MA — A man was critically injured Wednesday afternoon after police say he was struck by an MBTA commenter rail train in Ayer.
Transit police say the man was trespassing in the right of way when he was hit by an outbound Fitchburg Line train around 3:45 p.m.
Emergency crews say he sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken by med flight to Nashoba Hospital.

The MBTA says all Fitchburg Line trains experienced significant delays due to police activity in the area, and Fitchburg Line Train 419 has been terminated.
Police were telling everyone to avoid the area of Depot Square while they conducted their investigation.
