PUMA Road Race for Charity Approved
The race to benefit breast cancer research will be held in August.
A summer road race to benefit a breast cancer charity was approved by town officials Tuesday.
The PUMA shoe company will sponsor the five-mile race, which will be held Aug. 20. All proceeds will benefit Project Pink, which supports breast cancer research.
The race will start and end at PUMA's North America headquarters building on Lybtery Way. The course will wind around Carlisle Road, Littleton Road, South Chelmsford Road, and Old Lowell Road.

The race will start at 5 p.m. A festival featuring food and entertainment will be held after.
"This will be good for the community," said PUMA representative Greg Haskell.
