Overall an amazing game played by both teams.  For the Blue Smurfs, Carolyn Graham did a fantastic job on both offense and defense, playing with great hustle.  Also for the Blue Smurfs, Olivia Beatty played an intense game showing great dribbling and rebounding skills.  For the Blue Lightening, number 3 Meaghan McGee was a force who made great rebounds and steals. Also Isabel Smith was a powerhouse, playing aggressive defense. The game was a heart stopper and a fantastic game to watch! Great game girls.

Electric Eels  25
Orange Crush  12

The Electric Eels and the Orange Crush played a great game.  The Eels pulled through and won 25 to 12.  On the Orange Crush, Fiona Cotter played great offense and Abigail Zegowitz played tough defense.  For the Eels, Sarah Wilsack, and Ella Krikorian played outstanding offense and Emily Blagg played great defense.  It was a fun well played game.

Red Phoenix  2

The potent Purple UrpleFlurples and the fantastic Phoenixes played a magnificently mind boggling match.  For the Flurples, cheerful Chip Crimmins and kool Kiley Flanagan sealed the deal on offense.  Sensational Sydney Kennedy sunk some flamboyant foul shots and Grace the great Santana destroyed on defense.  For the Phoenixes, angelic Angela Mancuso and leaping Lily Kinney had an all around good game.

Surfers  14
Teal Terror Tucans 10

What a good game played by both the Teal Terror Tucans and the Surfers. The Tucans had great defense by Morgan Freud and Lily Geller and also great shooting by Skyler Anderson. Ariella Fleischer, Danielle Reynolds, and Catherine Grant were super shooters today and Mya Barber-Mingo and Sophie Jiang had great defense. It was a close game all the way until the end.

Orange Starburst  14

It was a hard fought game and in the end, it came down to a foul shot at the end of the game shot by Amanda Ciulla. Pratuysha Mulpur had a great game on offense for the Lemonheadz. Tori Enis and Tara Castelino were key to the Lemonheadz defense. Shefali Tamaskar and Emily Morin played great defense for the Starbrust. Laurel Humphrey and Madelyn Guthrie were essential to the Starbursts offense. Everyone had a great day and it was a great game to watch and play.

Pink Panthers 20
Gobstoppers 14

It was a fabulous game to watch between the Panthers and the Gobstoppers. The Panthers played spectacular defense with Amanda Urban, Jesssica Liu and Brook Leonard. On offense, Katie Cullen was unstoppable and had some key baskets at the end. Kelly Burbine from the Panthers was amazing grabbing almost every possible rebound. Caroline Gabriel played super aggressive defense with incredible hustle and some great steals. The tough playing Gobstoppers included Sydney Roche, Madeline Laliberte and Samantha Eynon who were all a force to be reckoned with and kept the Panthers on their toes and the game close. It was a great day at the Robinson gym !

As the season progresses and all the girls improve it makes for some very exciting basketball. This game against the Shooters and the Umpa Lumpas was no exception. From the Shooters, Natalie Targ was setting picks and grabbing rebounds while Claudia Oakleaf made some nice shots and was aggressive on defense. Katherine Dickey also played tight D and got herself open repeatedly. Ali Giovino passed well and had some nice assists. For the UmpaLumpas, Leyal Singh worked her way to the net with the ball and Ellen Olszowy stole the ball repeatedly. Sacha Pelosky made some nice shots and Lauren Berk played aggressive defense. Both teams played well with the Shooters coming out on top.
