Silver Bullets and Tigers Eke Out Single Point Wins

Blue Hawks 24 Blue Thunder 19: The Blue Hawks and the Blue Thunder were in close game all the way through, but the Blue Hawks finished on top. The Blue Hawk’s Tucker Champeau (12 points, Tony Roddy (6 points) and Ben Trantanella(4 points) led the team in scoring. Matt Bugos did a great job bringing the ball up, scoring a few points here and there. Willem Lorette and Quinn Lacon played tenacious defense and crashed the boards. Ryan Canha scored his first basket today and it was a big one. This was a great game for a first win. For the Thunder, Alexander Quattrochi had 8 points and Arjun Shah had 6 points. Gavin Spadano and Tyler Bella put in a great defensive effort.

Tigers 28 Phantoms 27: In a very exciting game which went right down to the wire, the Tigers pulled out a win 28-27. Several players on both teams factored in the scoring. For the Tigers, Justin Dulczewski had 12 points, Jack Quaranto had 6 points and Neil Brown scored 4 points. Colin Loesch and Jacob Zegowitz scored a basket and put in a great effort defensively. For the Phantoms, Scott Beattie led all scorers with 18 points including 2 3 pointers! One of them with only 12 seconds on the clock. Anish Venkatesh, Alec Morgan, Evan Lewin and John Pickton all scored as well.

Generals 44 Blue Man Group 23: The Generals had a very strong offensive game with several players in double digits. Dan Wilson led his team with 12 points but Jason Fitzgerald and Sean Grimes also scored 10 points and Alok Sanghavi tossed in another 6. The Blue Man Group put in a great effort against a strong offensive attack. Drew Pian had 13 points and Declan Morse scored 8 points. Peter Waldron and Brent Robinson were very strong on defense in a losing effort.


Bears 30  Bulls 21:  Andrew Jerzylo poured in 12 points and Shane Cressman added  6 to lead the Bears to a 30-21 win over the Bulls. Matt Cappucci led the Bulls by scoring 10 points and contributing solid defense and rebounding.


Green Monsters 16 Grey Ghosts 14: Jakob Simas scored 8 points while  Josh Rosenstein chipped in 6 to help the Green Monsters nip the Grey Ghosts 16-14. The Ghosts, led by Domenic DiGiovine and Ryan Crann who eached scored 4, made a solid last minute comeback, but the Monsters prevailed. Great team defense by the Monsters stopped the Ghosts as they narrowly missed a game tying shot in the final seconds.


Celtics 23  Gold Rush 17:  Timmy Loosigian scored 8 of his game high 13 points in the second half to lead the Celtics over the Gold Rush 23-17.  Michael Sennott and Liam Doolin each contributed to the victory by chipping in 4 points for the Celtics.  Oliver Davey paced the GoldRush with 5 of his 7 points in the second half, while Charles Zhang helped keep the Gold Rush close by dropping in 6.


Spartans  27  Thunderbolts  21:  Zach Lawrence dropped in 7 first half points to help the Spartans pull out to a half time lead which they never relinquished as they topped the Thunderbolts 27-21. Ben Lawrence, Michael Ricciardi, Pappu Bhargav, and Ben Trotter each contributed second half buckets to keep the Spartans in front.  Ryan Domit and Jay Wallace each scored 6 to pace the Thunderbolts.


Celtics 20 Blue Tornados  18:  The Celtics used 8 second half points from Jack Quinn to squeak past the Blue Tornados 20-18.  The Celtics also got 4 points from both Jacob Severance and Ernest Barber.  Michael Zacharchu dropped in 10 points  and Devin Crogan added 4 to help the Blue Tornados keep the contest close until the final buzzer.


Silver Bullets 28  Pythons 27:  Jake Barisano scored 6 of his 8 points in the first half to help stake the Silver Bullets to a lead over the Pythons.  Cam Barisano dropped in 6 of his game high 14 in the second half to keep the lead as the Silver Bullets won a nail biter 28-27.  Jason Ward of the Pythons led all scorers with 15 points while Thomas Robertson added 6.


Wizards 21  Hawks 14:  Joe Baker scored 6 points in each half to help the Wizards knock off the Hawks 21-14.  Tommy Olmstead led a balanced Hawk scoring attack by scoring 4 points for the Hawks.


Heat 25  While Warriors 20:  Adam Scaramuzzi led all scorers with 10 points to lead the Heat over the White Warriors 25-20.  Adding to the scoring for the Heat were Kyle Pugatch, Donald Walk, and Drew Brown who each dropped the ball in the hoop multiple times.  Andrew Awada and Brendan Walsh combined for 16 points to pace the White Warriors.
