Silver Bullets, Generals, Wizards Get Narrow Victories in WYBL Junior Boys' Play

The Generals defeated the Thunderbolts 22-20 in 2 overtimes. Dan Wilson scored the basket that put the Generals ahead for good. Jason Fitzgerald had10 points for the Generals.

points for the Phantoms. Brian Alibrandi had 8 points and Andrew Jerzylo had 3 for the Bears.
Blue Man Group 23 Blue Hawks 16. Blue Man Group had 7 different players score to defeat the Blue Hawks. Drew Pian had 7 points for Blue Man Group and strong defense came from Daniel Morrison, Brent Robinson and Adam Batchelder. Tucker Champeau led the Blue Hawks with 10 points.
The Grey Ghosts beat the Blue Thunder 35-17. Dom DiGiovine paced the Ghosts with 12 points while Ryan Crann and Colin Carney each scored 6. Tyler Bella and Arjun Shah both had 6 for the Blue Thunder.
The Silver Bullets beat the Green Monsters 21-20. Cam Barisano had 10 points, Jake Barisano had 5 points and James Weaver had 4 for the Bullets. For the Green Monsters, Josh Rosenstein scored 12 points and Blayde Tremblay had 4. Alex Kozlowski had 2 points and played great defense as did Jason Ward.

Closely contested from opening tip until final buzzer, the Wizards edged the Gold Rush 24-23. John Berrigan and Joe Baker combined for 19 points to lead the Wizards. Nick Faretra paced the Gold Rush with 7 points and outstanding effort and defense while Charles Zhang, Sam Sacknowitz and Oliver Davey each chipped in 4 points.
Pythons 30 White Warriors 17: Twin brothers Patrick and Jason Ward each dropped in 10 points for the Pythons as they knocked off the Warriors 30-17. Andrew Awada and Brendan Walsh combined for 11 points to lead the Warriors.
Tigers 23 Celtics 18: Justin Dulczewski poured in 8 of his team high 11 points in the first half to help the Tigers top the Celtics 23-18. Cam Ciulla, Matt Ryan and John Alfano led the defense. Timmy Loosigian dropped in 13 for the Celtics.
Blue Tornado's 32, Hawks 10: Michael Zacharchuk and Ryan Humphrey led the Tornado's offensive outburst against the short-handed Hawks. Rohan Prasad and birthday boy Matt Sciuto, also contributed key baskets for the Tornado's. The Hawks battled hard until the end and were led on both ends of the court by Owen McNeil and Tommy Olmstead.
Spartans 41 Heat 23: The Spartans improved their record to 4 and 1 playing a tough game against the Heat on Sunday. The game was back and forth with the Heat staying within striking distance for most of the game. Ben Lawrence led all scorers with 12 for the Spartans and Adam Scaramuzzo had 11 for the Heat. Michael Ricciardi had 9, Zach Lawrence, Bhargov Pappu, Ryan O’Regan, Ben Trotter and Sambit Sahoo all had 4. Arjun Patil played tough defense in the winning effort.
Celtics 28 Bulls 14: Jack Quinn scored 8 of his 14 points in the second half to help the Celtics knock off the Bulls by a score of 28-14.Garrett Ackerman and Luke Stocker each dropped in 6 points for the Bulls in the contest.
