The United Methodist Church of Westford (UMCW) invites the public to a special seminar, “Smart Money Smart Kids”, focused on helping children manage money effectively. The first session will take place on Wednesday, September 16th from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at 10 Church Street in Westford.
The program is an offshoot of the New York Times best-seller of the same name, written by financial expert Dave Ramsey and his daughter, Rachel Cruze. Ramsey and Cruze start with the basics, such as working, spending, saving and giving, then move onto more challenging issues such as debt avoidance and college financing. Registration is $59.00, which may cover an individual plus his or her partner.
