SNAP Bonus Bucks Video by Westford Cable Access TV

Westford Cable Access TV put together an informative video about the SNAP Bonus Bucks Program at the Westford Farmers Market. In the video, Gloria Gilbert, Founder of the Westford Farmers Market, discusses the importance of this program in the Westford Community. She is joined by the Minister of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Westford, Allison Christopher from Westford Social Services, and Tim McLean from Boch Honda of Westford.

The SNAP Bonus Bucks Program allows users of SNAP benefits to double their funds. The goal is to encourage families to spend their doubled SNAP dollars on healthy food from local farms and sustainable businesses. One dollar of Bonus Bucks is added to each dollar of SNAP benefits for use exclusively at the Westford Farmers Market.
