Sonus Names Castonguay As New CFO

Westford-based Sonus Networks has named Maurice “Moe” Castonguay as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer last week.

During his 30 years serving as a financial officer in various sectors, Castonguay has wide experience in his new role, serving in comparable positions at MatrixOne, Stratus Computer, Xylogics, Acopia Networks, Broadbus Technologies, Media 100 Inc., Cedar Point Communications, and most recently, BigBand Networks.

Castonguay comes in to replace former CFO Wayne Pastore, who himself replaced former CFO Richard Gaynor in February 2010.
