St. Mark's to offer a discussion series for the community
"Thou art dust": Conversations about the End of Life, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 75 Cold Spring Road, Westford

According to The Conversation Project, 90 percent of Americans say it is important to discuss their wishes for end-of-life with their families, but only 27 percent have actually done so. St. Mark’s invites you to join us on Sunday evenings for this four-session speaker series intended to help people prepare to have those conversations with their families. We’ll frame the conversation with Dr. Atul Gawande’s book Being Mortal and resources from The Conversation Project. There is no cost for participants other than purchasing the book from Amazon or another bookseller. Each session will include a soup supper, a guest speaker, and time to discuss the readings. All are welcome regardless of faith background, although most of our speakers will speak from a Christian perspective.
